Our Supervision Philosophy

Supervision is a vital partnership between a supervisor and a supervisee, creating a collaborative framework for fostering professional growth, competence, ethical conduct, and accountability. The supervisor plays a crucial role in guiding the supervisee’s application of social work theory, standardized knowledge, skills, competency, and ethical standards in the practice setting.

We strongly advocate for professional clinical supervisors with specific training in supervision, committed to nurturing the professional development of supervisees by:
– Vigilantly monitoring client welfare
– Encouraging unwavering compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
– Transferring essential therapeutic skills
– Providing consistent and constructive feedback and evaluation
– Offering diverse professional experiences and opportunities

We firmly believe that a supervisee deserves to work with a culturally sensitive supervisor who openly discusses the impact of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and class on the clinical and supervision process.

Fees

We offer individual supervision for $85 per hour and group supervision for $50 per 2-hour session. Please email elevate@elevatedbyme.com for additional information or to begin the process.

Content

Join our supervision sessions where we analyze cases, audiotapes, and videotapes and can even observe live sessions. You need to choose a theoretical orientation to guide your work with clients. We provide verbal feedback and informal evaluations in each supervisory session, ensuring face-to-face meetings in our private practice setting for confidentiality.

Consider our group clinical supervision option at our site or yours. It is especially beneficial for agencies, hospitals, or organizations with multiple LMSW-level clinicians and limited available supervisors. Please feel free to contact us for further details.
